Breakfast & After School Club

Breakfast and After School Club

We offer wraparound care for your child at The Willows Catholic Primary School between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm, through the provision of a breakfast and after school club. The club caters for children in all years, from Reception upwards.

What is a Breakfast Club?

A Breakfast club provides care for children before the start of their school day.

Once registered and booked in, you can leave your child or children with us from 7.30am until the start of the school day. Children can chooses from our breakfast menu which always includes: Cereals, Toast, Fruit, Yoghurts, Breakfast Bars, Fruit Juice, Milk and Water. In addition each day we offer an additional item which is either Waffles, Pancakes, Croissants, Brioche or Pain au Chocolat.

What is a Drop Off Club?

We also provide a Drop Off service from 8.30am until the start of the school day for £2.00 although this does not include breakfast.

Please note that although parents/carers and children are welcome to come into the playground area before school there is no supervision for children until the start of the school day, at 8.50am, so parents/carers are required to remain with their children and be responsible for their own children before this time.

At 8:50am the doors are opened to the classrooms. Key Stage 1 children line up in the playground and Key Stage 2 children walk round to their classrooms.

Any child that is present on the school premises before 8:50am and unaccompanied by an adult will be brought into Breakfast Club and the parent will be charged £2 drop off rate. This is to ensure the safety of the children.

What does the After School Club offer?

A club for working parents, those who wish to return to training or those that just need to take a well earned break. Once booked in, your children will be collected from their class and can stay with us from the end of the school day until 6.00pm.

What can the children expect?

Activities are always varied so that children will always be entertained. The club offers a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, educational learning such as puzzles, construction toys and board games. We also supply a range of books and activities based around fine motor development. We also promote team building and physical activities via the indoor and outdoor sports such as football, rounders, cricket.
