Laudato Si’ Group

Welcome to our Laudato Si’ Group’s page…
Laudato Si’ is an letter written by Pope Francis to all the people in the world. He wrote this letter on 18th June 2015.
Laudato Si’ discusses the damage being caused by humans on the Earth and calls on ‘every person living on this planet’ to make urgent changes to our lifestyles and how we consume energy to protect the planet. Our Laudato Si’ Group are looking at how we can change the impact our school has on pollution, climate change, water usage and the decline in the quality of human life; as instructed to do so by Pope Francis.
Each year, our classes elect two children to be their representatives in our Laudato Si’ Group. These children will then lead our school towards a more Eco-friendly environment.
Over the coming weeks and months we will work together to develop our eco-friendly routine for our Willow’s school; we must look after the Earth that God has given us – our common home.
