Head Girl and Head Boy Speeches

This morning, Thursday 9th September, our Year 6 children introduced themselves to our Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 class and told them why they think they will be the ideal candidate for the roles of Head Boy and Head Girl.

We were incredibly proud of all our Year 6 children – they all wrote excellent speeches and spoke with such confidence. They really were a credit to their families and our schools.

Following this, all our children received a lesson on democracy from their class teachers. They also discussed how they should vote and that they should use their vote wisely – voting for the person who they think will be the best Head Boy or Head Girl and not someone they like.

Over the coming days, the Year 6 children will introduce themselves to our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children. Once all the children and staff have voted, the results of the election will be announced.
