Stations of the Cross

Stations of the Cross

The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ’s last day on Earth as a man. Walking with Jesus through the last hours of his life is one way of explaining the tradition of praying the Stations of the Cross with children.

Father Andrew has kindly recorded the video below to help us walk with Jesus during these challenging times.

Each station gives us chance to Listen, Think and Act
.
Listen – gives us the chance to hear about the events surrounding each station.
Think – Father Andrew leads us in a brief reflection on what we might learn from the message of the story.
Act – If we only listen and look, the message is not truly heard. We need the opportunity to act on what we have heard, to change or make a positive action.

Each station finishes with a short prayer which will appear on screen to help you join in.
