We have had a wonderful first few days in Year 6 and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the class. It should be a fun-filled year ahead, with Tower Wood just around the corner and the prospect of a year without Covid related disruption impacting our school routines!

Over the last few days, we have spent plenty of time in the Forest School area, playing games and completing team challenges. We have also written our own Year 6 rap to the tune of Queen’s ‘We will rock you’. The children are extremely excited about the added roles and responsibilities that come with being in Year 6, not least being a Reception Buddy! They cannot wait to meet their new Buddies on Friday for the first time, where we will spend the morning bonding over campfire toast in the Forest School area and playing music games in the afternoon with Miss Mallinson.
