During our first few weeks of term, we will be focusing on the place value of numbers in Year 4. We have done lots of partitioning and problem solving, but we have also been very practical with our activities too. We used the dienes blocks to create 3 and 4 digit numbers we rolled on a dice and we also played times table board games against our friends, where we had to partition 4 digit numbers. Who said maths could not be fun!
