Year 6 children lead Prayer and Liturgies every Tuesday in class.

The children plan their own Prayer and Liturgies using a wide range of resources and set up the worship table independently based on the theme they have chosen from their piece of scripture.

The children that have led Prayer and Liturgies so far have done an amazing job, showing such a strong understanding of the structure and importance of reflection and a calm environment during a Prayer and Liturgy.

We have had several important missions following our class Prayer and Liturgies, the most recent being a chance to reflect and act on how we can help protect God’s world. We have supported CAFOD in school and made a personal promise to each do something small to help our community go-green!
