Year 6 Scale The Climbing Wall
On Tuesday 5th July, Year 6 tackled the Mobile Climbing Wall which visited school. Staff from Alternative Adventure harnessed the children up and explained that the aims of the climbing session was for the children to push boundaries, challenge themselves and gain resilience and self-confidence.
As you can see from the pictures, the children had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They had great success and showed excellent progress during the session. The children challenged themselves and almost all of them went higher on their second and third attempts, giving them a great sense of achievement. It was great to see such high levels of engagement and physical exertion from so many of the children, a lot of whom managed to scale the full height of the wall! Well done Year 6!
